Two Face

I’m a Batman fan and Two-Face is one of the most dangerous villains of the Batman comics, but I’m not blogging about Two-Face Harvey Dent.  I’m blogging about Two-Faced people you meet in your daily lives, yes those people exist…  In the workplace, school, church or worse in your home!  Be careful when they tell you that they got your back and when you’re not around they mock you or talk behind your back.  I’ve met a lot of people in the workplace, I tried to befriend people in the office and different organizations, and stayed true to them but sadly these officemates are the same people who caused so much disappointment.  A friend told me that I was looking for friends in the wrong places, my friend’s right and here are some of the Two-Faced friends that I met in the past:

Two-Face

Competitive & Insecure - An employee who follows your every move, copies what you do and is always comparing himself to everyone.  Be careful of his disguise, he might be praising you but at the back of his mind he wants to destroy you!

Jealous – An employee who once mentored you doesn’t mean he’s happy for your success, he will downplay your ideas and discourage you or worse that employee will talk behind your back and pretend to be your friend.  Remember the saying Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer?

Two-Face

Silent – An employee who is often smiling and doesn’t dwell on office intrigues, he might not look intimidating but he has his own opinions about you.

Apprentice – An employee whom you once mentored and helped when he was just starting in the office, he’s disguised as a fan but when given what he wants from you he will stab you in the back, how ungrateful you say?  But at the back of his mind… Who cares, I got what I wanted anyway!

Two-Face

Be careful because there are a lot more types of Two-Faced friends in your office or anywhere you go, but as you’re reading this post think about it and ask yourself… Am I one them?
